Field Notes

Habitat:

Coastal areas. It is also found in river systems, but tends to prefer salinity, resulting in the species congregating in brackish lakes, mangrove swamps, lagoons, cays, and small islands.

Notes:

I've often seen the one crocodile here at its usual spot on the lake bank (the one in the last photo). However there was a new croc in town basking on the location shown in map.
