Description:

Flamingos are long legged birds, slightly pinkish in color. They tend to like to stand on one leg, and they use their long bills to catch food in the pond the live in. Flamingos are generally around 5 feet. Their wingspan is about 55-65 inches, and their lifespan is anywhere from 20-50 years. They eat small invertebrates, and small fish.

Habitat:

Flamingos live in a pond area where the water is not too deep and there are a lot fish. There are also parts of land nearby for the flamingos to dry out outside of the pond.
