It appears to me Comibaena connata is a better match than Uliocnemis partita because Uliocnemis partita has more angular wings than rounded. Uliocnemis partita: http://lepidoptera.butterflyhouse.com.au/geom/partita.html You are right, Christiane, that Comibaena bajularia is indeed a European moth that does not range to Australia, though it has some similar species in Australia. The Comibaena bajularia seems to be an European Moth??
