One wasp can not harm you, dear. it is only a small and fragile wasps. You must termer about the nest. :)
Ah, did not see your comment, not updated the page. I struggled to make shots from all over the body of the wasp, especially the yellow spots, but she flew.
this is one wicked wasp, wouldn't want to run across one in a dark alley at night ;-)
Hi, bay, I was thinking 'Polybia'. I think it has a 12 mm.
I slightly would tend to Eumeninae, but I might be wrong.
Vespidae. But is it Polistinae, Paper Wasp or Eumeninae, Potter Wasp? I am not so familiar with wasps and to my surprise my screen upon searching was not really amusing for Brazil! No reasonable match for both and not even similar ones. Anything else?
