Description:

bright yellow & black striped larvae with 4 white tufts of hair standing up on the top and smaller yellow hairs all over the body, bright red head, the about 35 mm long

Habitat:

urban schoolyard on a Shagbark Hickory tree bark

Notes:

touching hairs can cause allergic reaction in humans
