Field Notes
Description:
This plant is approximately 2 feet tall and 2 feet wide. The leaves on this plant are dark green and feathery. There are clumps of small light blue flowers. The flowers have a sweet smell. My research showed that this plant only blooms in the spring and in the fall the color of the leaves will turn to gold.
Habitat:
This plant was found growing in a sunny place at the Cincinnati Zoo.
Notes:
My plant is good to attract pollinators because it smells sweet and has flowers. The evidence from my research is that bees, flies and hummingbirds often pollinate this type of plant.
