Description:

A white, saprophytic plant with a thick, translucent stem covered with scaly bracts ad terminated by a solitary nodding flower.

Habitat:

Spotted along the Old Indian Hiking Trail at Tamarac NWR. Woodland humus area, moist with hardwood trees.
