Description:

Large (6 to 7 cm wingspan) butterfly. It is mainly dark brown with white pattern above; and a cream one below.

Habitat:

This is an European species, usually found in light woodland and grasslands. Here, observed in urban environment - Skradin is a small town at the entrance to the National Park,located on shores of Krka river and is surrounded by a lush broad leaved forest.
