Field Notes

Description:

Black spiky caterpillar, red orange dots at the edge of every "compartment"
Eating my Waterlillies!

Habitat:

IN garden on Saba, Dutch Caribbean. Near Caribbean sea and Volcano.

Notes:

I noticed my Waterlily leaves are all getting chewed up. To my surprise I found these big caterpillars on the edge of the water sitting (and eating) my leaves! Want to know what kind of butterfly I am "helping".
