Leaf Mimic Katydid

A really cool Katydid Leaf Mimic, about 4 cm long. The wings are covered in false leaf venation and even pale spots simulating leaf decay. The snout is prolonged to look like a leaf petiole and in fact it's normal position is with the nose placed down on the branch. The eyes are practically invisible due to coloring matching the head. The little T. rex front legs are very small and can only come in contact with the substrate when the nose is in its downward position. The antennae are very long but unusually, are held underneath the body. The hind legs are also expanded to look leaf-like. Family Tettigoniidae.
