Description:

Back seat driver !? <br> A tiny wingless female flower wasp rides around attached to the back of a much larger winged male. <br> Mating occurs in flight. Male wasps carry the female wasps and actively feed them or take them to food plants.(15mm long together)

Habitat:

Action was on a small eucalyptus twig in a local sports reserve.
