Description:

There were many different coloured hoppers in a field of wild flowers/weeds, surrounded by primary mixed tropical montane forest. This one was blue, maroon, black and a tiny bit of white.

thank you Sukanya. Yes, I was really lucky. Wasn't going to go into that field, but something pulled me in, and it was full of all sorts of creatures.
I wondered what is the collective noun for hoppers...did not find it...may be there isn't any.... but came to know it is a CLOUD of grasshoppers..so by extension may be it is a cloud for simple hoppers too! A CLOUD. What a wonderful cloud you saw. Congrats Pamsai. Loved the shots..all of em.
yes dcslaugh, it was quite exciting. There seemed to be one sort of hopper or another on every other bush ! So many different colours and patterns.
I guess so Mark... Thought i'd put them all together. Easier to find again that way !
