Description:

There were many different coloured hoppers in a field of wild flowers/weeds, surrounded by primary mixed tropical montane forest. This one was black with red spots..

Cicadellidae, Cicadellinae, Cicadellini, Ladoffa sp., but Ladoffa cavillator not Ladoffa dependens. The markings are slightly different. http://naturalhistory.museumwales.ac.uk/sharpshooters/browserecord.php?-recid=1785
