Field Notes

Description:

This ant is black and has a rectangular head. It is 1 cm long and 2 mm wide. the antennae are approximately 5 mm long. The ant has very long mandibles.

Habitat:

This ant was found in a colony near a banana tree in the SAS dense rainforest.

Notes:

Found in the Singapore American School Rainforest. (In a dense part)
