Description:

A really beautiful Bilster Beetle about 1.5 cm long. It is black with yellow stripes and if you look at the beetle closely, all the yellow coloring is formed from small hairs. Family Meloidae.

Habitat:

On leaves along the roadside, Jalapa de Marquez, Tehuantepec, Oaxaca, Mexico.
