Description:

Small spiny Phasmid, with tis name "nolimetangere" means Touch me Not due to its big spines.
This Male is mostly brown in colour with 'goldish' and green colours on his back

Habitat:

Tropical forest, endemic to Borneo

Thanks, @Chun. This is quite a common Phasmid around Kuching :D
Thanks, @Mark. I guess its difficult to understand their evolution as quite a few species, especially the winged-species, has very striking colours and contradictory to the basic idea of Stick Insects with the main intention to mimic sticks/branches. Despite their striking colours, it is still very difficult to find them :p
We should be curious about a family that develops the mimicry of sticks then adds non-stick colours. Do they have a plan? Your phasmids are wonderful Albert.
