Description:

A small insect I spotted on a concrete boardwalk. Unfortunately, no other pictures of other sides of it.

Habitat:

Spotted on a concrete path in Sungei Buloh Nature Reserve.

From the profile, this looks a lot like a type of Tiger Beetle to me. Check out Subfamily Cicindelinae. I am not sure of the species in your area and without a photo of the elytra and the rest of the body, it will most likely not be possible to identify it further.
