Description:

Several of these pretty legless caterpillars (slug foot) were munching on a young eucalyptus sapling. Each one was about 25mm long.

Habitat:

In a local nature reserve adjoining a large national park.

The 'cup' produced by pupation is a plain brown ovoid shape usually constructed underneath a small shelter.
