Field Notes

Description:

This spider's body is about 1 inch long and 2 centermeters wide with 5 centermeter long legs. It has a black body with orange-red legs and a black stripe.

Habitat:

Singapore American School (SAS) rainforest. Singapore is in southeast asia 85 miles north of the equator.

Notes:

This spider makes very strong webs and has marble sized eggs that can hold up to 100-200 baby spiders that hatch after two months.
