Field Notes

Description:

Common but hard to photograph, due to the contrasting white and black patches, this magpie gave me a split second to get a nice portrait. The paid was nesting in the top of a building

Habitat:

Adelaide botanical garden

Notes:

Common around houses, parks and in urban settings as well as in the less developed areas
