As the name goes, " Racer" would these race behind humans?
Hi Jemma, Thanks for the welcome back. They are generally considered harmless to humans although a few person may have a localized response to the bite. We are finding now that most snakes have some venom, they just have no means to inject it or it is so mild that it does not effect humans. Venom is, after all, a modified saliva and is used to subdue and begin the digestion process.
