Field Notes

Description:

This tree is a Jackfruit Tree, and was approximately over 5 meters tall. It was producing a few jackfruits such as the one in the photo, which were moss green colored. The trunk of the tree was dull brown color and had many white blotches on it. Its leaves looked polished and green, but felt a bit like hard. The branches varied and there were quite many of them.

Habitat:

This Jackfruit Tree was growing and living in Singapore American School's rainforest, which is a secondary rainforest. The climate there was sunny, and the tree seemed tall enough to be experiencing a sunny atmosphere above. I spotted it at 1:57 PM.
