Field Notes

Description:

Grayish fur coat w/ ringed tail. The face has somewhat white rings over the eyes and nose black tipped after white area giving an image of wearing a mask.

Habitat:

Originally it was deciduous and mixed forests. They have adapted so well that they are found from mountain areas to coastal to urban areas where they have become known to many as a pest.

Notes:

This young raccoon was curious as I walked past his tree house.
