Field Notes

Description:

This fungus was on a fallen tree. It was only on parts of the tree and it was at a really sunny spot, I think that sun has to do with it because it mostly grew where the sun was so that is why I think the sun had to do with it. I think the whole fungus was about 20cm long in total.

Notes:

I saw only one of these in our rainforest, but I hardly went into the forest so you never know there still might be more out there.
