Description:
It has an orange-yellow on dark brown lattice on the upper side of its wings, an ocellus at the apex of the forewings and three large ocelli in the submarginal area of the hindwings.
The underside of the hind wings has a toothed margin and is ocher in color with a poorly defined pattern.
Males and females are the same and can reach 38 or 45 millimeters in wingspan.
Habitat:
Very diverse from forests to gardens, it can also be found in grasslands, meadows and bushes, generally near paths and hedges. They like humid and cool environments, but with abundant bushes and bushes, in which they are perfectly camouflaged. From sea level to 2,500 meters above sea level.
