Description:

Found this guy on the road in brumation (at least I hope it was). Even though he wouldn’t move there were no apparent signs of outward physical trauma so I moved him to a safer place off the road to (hopefully) hibernate.

Habitat:

Coastal range foothills, infrequently traveled aqueduct service road
