Field Notes

Description:

Pheasant was at the edge of a dense block of switch grass. Spotted in a agricultural field feeding/ collecting gravel. Quality of the picture suffered a bit, because I had to take picture through windshield. Tried to creep forward, but it ran off.

Notes:

Verona State Game Area where a lot of DNR/ Pheasants Foreever habitat work has been done to improve pheasant populations. Only seen this one, but it seems to be working.
