Field Notes

Description:

Vine growing up along tree. Woodvine also on the tree photographed (on right of photo).

Habitat:

Wooded area of Columbia Bottomland along Live Oak Trail, San Bernard National Wildlife Refuge.

Notes:

Always noted how poison ivy in Texas is a vine, but in Minnesota it is a group plant. Now discovery that Minnesota poison ivy is technically Western Poison Ivy, Toxicodendron rydbergii.
