Field Notes

Description:

Large moth, body 4-5cm long and thick. Body olive green with lighter yellow at the back, and a burgundy stripe across about midway. Legs and underbelly white. Wings just with black venation, appear to be clear.

Habitat:

seen in broadleaf foliage along the edge of the lake

Notes:

I think hummingbird moth... ?
