Stink bug/ shield bug

Description:
The bug is the size of ones tip of the finger to the knuckle. As you can see in the picture, the bug has a black and orange striped shield surrounding the green base. The bug did not move quickly and was firmly hooked onto the leaf with its legs. This bug can fly, since we saw one of its species fly off to another area of the rainforest. This bug's host plant is the Simpoh Air, according to http://www.natureloveyou.sg/ which explains why there were more than three of this species resting on the Simpoh Air. We believe that these two living things have a special relationship like the fig and the fig wasp; however, this theory is not concluded.
In addition, as it is a stink bug, this bug also releases a smelly odor when it is being disturbed or feels threatened; however, it did not release any odor.
Habitat:
The habitat of this bug is probably around the Simpoh Air. We found them particularly on the leaves and not the flowers. They mostly like to be exposed to light and so seem to be around the area of Simpoh Air that has a sufficient amount of sunlight in the area. There was also another area of the SAS rainforest that had this flower; however, because there was barely any sunlight reaching to its leaves, we could not find the stink bug in that particular location. In this area of the rainforest, the Simpoh Air was located next to bigger tree which has not yet been identified. In addition, the stink bug was particularly found on the leaves that were higher. Rarely did we see it down below.
