Description:
This tree has no flowers. The fruit is a bumpy and green in color. It is not ripe. We can tell this because of the fact that it is not long. Ussually ripe Jackfruit are about 3 ft long. This one is only about 9 in. The leaf is green and feels waxy, leathery and smooth. It is ovate and the venation is netted pinnate. The leaf arrangement is alternative. The bark was rough and hard. It had green moss and a few scratch marks on it.
Habitat:
Found in a secondary forest.
Notes:
Jackfruit is an edible fruit. It tastes like a combo of Durian and Apples. There are bulbs inside and it has a very thick rind when fully ripe.
