Field Notes

Description:

Dark coloured, large francolin; bill, skill around the eyes, throat and legs all red; neck and underparts slaty/greyish, with black bar surrounded with white barring; Upperparts, wings and tail are almost solid brown with bars of black in the middle of feathers.
