Description:

The Forest Quaker's (Pithecops corvus corax) nectar/food plant here is Botonesan (local term); Buttonweed, Bachelor's Button, Knobweed or False Ironwort, Hyptis capitata Jacq. (Lamiaceae). It is the same plant in this spotting -> http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/1968476003.

Habitat:

Mount Makiling Forest Reserve in Los Baños, Laguna.
