Field Notes

Description:

The St Andrew's Cross Spider has bright web decorations. They make webs with bluish white slik. This one is a female as it has silver, yellow, red and black colour strips. The length of the spider was 1.5 cm and the width was 0.8 cm. When the spider fills threatened he moves vigorously.

Habitat:

It had built its web between two trees just above 4.5 ft above ground but it had camouflaged really well. It is occupied day and night.

Notes:

When I tried to take a picture of it, it was shaking vigorously.

Great perspectives for all three pictures! It had really good focus, too.
