Field Notes

Description:

Reddish head, w/ black & white back area and off white belly area w/ just a slight red belly patch.

Habitat:

Open areas like parks, golf courses; but does also enjoys larger forests.

Notes:

Observed from my window in my backyard in the preservation area at the edge from there leading to the lake. It was on an old snag investigating a hole.
