Description:
These might be eggs? It looks like there is an entrance mark of each little line, but I can't figure out what exactly they are. So far the only similar markings I've seen were sawfly and leaf hopper eggs.
I did find a caterpillar like insect on a nearby plant as well, that could potentially be a sawfly in the larval stage, and I see what may be adult sawflies flying around. I have not seen any leaf hoppers. Those are my best guesses. It's be awesome if someone recognized them.
