Description:

Verbascum pinnatifidum is a very unique perennial mullein species found on many of the sandy coasts of the Aegean Sea (Greece and W. Turkey) and up to the northern coasts of the Black Sea (Ukraine, Crimea). The small leaves are pinnately lobed, and the densely branched stems form small shrubs (approx. 30cm high) full of cottony buds and yellow flowers in early summer.

Habitat:

Spotted in the sandy beach of Agios Mamas (Chalkidiki, Greece).
