Field Notes

Description:

This eastern phoebe is about 7" in size and has no white eye ring. Is grayish in color (in some light it looks brownish), dark bill and has some yellow on his belly.

Habitat:

This eastern phoebe was the only bird in the area in a wooded area at Shepard State Park in Gautier, Mississippi. He spent a lot of time watching me and then flew away.
