Field Notes

Description:

Very long legs, with yellowish green stripes. It's main color was a dark black. This spider was found on a huge web it made at eye level hight. We first spotted the spider high in the trees, but this week it moved down. It didn't seem to move much. and laid on it's web most of the time.

Great picture here! You should be able to use a field guide at this point to ID this spider. You have a good description. You should consider using measurements in your description. Granted, you don't want to use a ruler, but you could be clever and figure out a way to estimate its size.
