Field Notes

Description:

Basically all gayish-brown w/ black eyes and beak.

Habitat:

It likes semi-open to open areas avoiding swampy and thick forests.

Notes:

Observed this species from my window when it attempted to land on a small window feeder then decided to settle for the seeds dropped on the ground by other birds.
