Description:

This macaque monkey is a primate belonging to the Old World monkeys species. It is predominantly found in South India. These type of monkeys feed on fruits, nuts, seeds, flowers, invertebrates, and cereals. They also feed on food shared by humans and are these days known to raid houses or snatch coconuts, bananas and other fruit from devotees visiting the temples where these monkeys abound.
