Field Notes

Description:

Has leaves that are smoothe and flat when the leaves are new, then they develope teeth and harden often curling on both sides while developing. Often has a mostly smoothe and silverish colored trunk when young.

Notes:

Has more flat leaves that do not curve as much compared to Leather Oak(Quercus durata). In a Madrone(Arbutus menziesii) forest.
