Description:

fan shaped white fungi with brown markings, growing on a fallen log.

Habitat:

on the ground in a wooded area of Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge, just off a paved visitors' trail.

Species ID Suggestions

Comments (1)

Looks like an interesting place for fungi in the right season. These could be either Stereum or Trametes-hard to tell as they are a little dry. Also need to see the underside. Might need an expert..
