Description:
The dark green leaves of this plant were 4cm long at the longest point and 1.5cm wide at the widest point. The leaf venation was netted pinnate and the shape of the leaves were obovate. The leaves emitted a strong smell of green curry. The bark of this plant was furrowed, thin and rough.
Habitat:
Found in a secondary rainforest located in Singapore American School at a shady area on the side of the pathway.
Notes:
The curry leaf is famously used in Indian cooking and can also be used for medicine. Some people chew on these to loose wait, have better hair, or have better eyesight. It also helps when you feel nausea or have indigestion.
