Field Notes

Description:

This is one of the largest of the jumping spiders, approximately 12mm long. This male has the characteristic white whiskers and mohawk topknot. Its black forearms stand out against the normally green leafy background. Very inquisitive. Solitary.

Habitat:

Cruising the foliage at Cattana Wetlands QLD
