Field Notes

Description:

In this picture, this plant is about an arm length long, and a hand width wide. It is a pretty, orangy-redish-pinkish color, and has little shelf like holes on top of each other, continuing up the whole plant. It's stem is green, with some darker green leaves coming off the sides.

Habitat:

I found this plant, and took the picture in the Singapore American School rainforest.

Notes:

I love this plant because I never realized this was what ginger looked like, so it's cool to now know that. I also like it because it is my favorite color, that I don't see most plants of.
