Sheltering from the rain in the hotel stairwell/passage.

Habitat:

Tropical montane rainforest.

Species ID Suggestions

Yes Malcolm, if you look carefully, the dots on it's wings is connected to a pattern line. One faded dot mark can be seen in the last picture. Another way to distinguish Lyclene mesilaulinea and Lyclene obscurilinea is by looking at the patterns on their thorax. Lyclene obscurilinea shows lines while Lyclene mesilaulinea have dots on it's thorax.
Both species have a small circular ring in the central area between the patterns but mine does not. Is there any significance in this?
