Great Tailed Grackle

We've had some bad flooding here in Southeast KS, which have drawn out some more uncommon animals. This is a great tailed grackle, I know the photo is not great but note the tail plummage, beak, and yellow eyes. I thought this was a crow at first but its beak and size were wrong. At first dejected this could be a common grackle, which I've already done, my friend who works with the birds here told me it was a great tailed grackle due to the tail plummage.
