Canário-rasteiro (Stripe-tailed Yellow-Finch)

It measures about 12 cm. The males are the top of the lemon-yellow head, olive back with stretch marks; the breast is yellow, but darker in color than the belly, which is bright yellow. Dark brown tail, with the outer edge of the yellow feathers. The final two-thirds of the side tail feathers are white. The wings are dark brown, with the edge of yellow feathers. Female Male similar to, but much darker and splined on the back as the chest; the belly is yellowish and bars on the tail are smaller than in males.
