Field Notes

Description:

Large fly, about 2cm long body. Bright orange at the front and black wings hanging down to the back. Eyes large and red.

Habitat:

seen on foliage in rain forest undergrowth..

Notes:

a very freaky looking fly, which quite frankly i took quick pictures and got as far away as i could, because he was eyeing me up... flys in this part of the world bite... and this one was very intimidating.
